The Blackline Series will bring your computer to a new plateau, giving you that extra edge on your artboard, on that battle map, or in the studio. Read on as we take a look at a 1600MHz dual channel CL7 kit with part number 996782 that is aimed at Intel P55 and H57 motherboard users!Mushkin DDR3-1600 7-9-7-24 Blackline Memory Review

If however you are like me and enjoy overclocking every bit of kit you can ever lay your grubby paws on then the Mushkin kit is definitely a good buy. I don't often get to play with mid-range memory kits, in fact it has been a while since my boards have seen under DDR3-2000C7, but I was impressed by these Mushkin Blackline modules. It was especially a lot of fun when I loosened up tRCD and the kit really began to scale, each notch up was a blast and I enjoyed the sensation of exploring what I felt was uncharted territory. Lately it has felt like all I do when overclocking is plug in pre-tested values for memory speeds and timings, this was a breath of fresh air for me.

Until now that is… We've just had a series of images drop into our mailbox showing an ASUS motherboard sporting support for AMD CPUs, and coming complete with both USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps support.

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition Plus Extra Deluxe

OK, so I made the last three words up, but the extensively titled Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition has been sighted by CJ in the USA, equipped apparently with “20 Full version games (10 from Gameloft, 10 from EA Mobile)”. It’s a nice idea, is available from Nokia USA and only costs $10 more than the standard phone. Even with a number of Java titles, that can’t be bad value.

So while you are at it, send a little love their way with a donation to help the poor Haitians who have been devastated by Mother Nature. Your conscience will thank you.
Haiti and google earth destruction

Google responded to the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti earlier this week by working with satellite imagery company GeoEye to quickly make images of the destruction available in Google Earth and Google Maps. The images were taken at approximately 10:27 a.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, and could prove to be a helpful tool for aid organizations attempting to survey and assess the damage to Haiti's infrastructure.
