Paramount and Kingston Agree to Deliver Movies via USB Drives

Kingston Digital today announced it has joined with Paramount Digital Entertainment (PDE), a division of Paramount Pictures, to deliver full-length motion picture feature films on Kingston Flash memory products. The movies on Kingston memory will be available to consumers as part of a bundle package and for sale. Currently, “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen” is available at all OfficeMax stores for $29.99. Customers receive this movie on a Kingston DataTraveler I drive and there is extra space on the 4GB drive that can be used for personal storage. This unique agreement enables PDE to make available its entertainment offerings on USB and SD cards, said Alex Carloss, EVP and GM of Paramount Digital Entertainment. Simplicity at its best: Lancool PC-K62 Casing Review

We managed to get hold of this pretty interesting casing. On first look, it does resemble some of the common cases, windowed side panel, vents in the front, and a rectangular build. However after trying it out, we’d say that it has more to offer than cases in its category.

[Rumour] AMD updates Phenom II/Athlon II roadmap

According to Digitimes, AMD is making several changes to its CPU schedules, particularly corresponding to the Phenom II line. Phenom II X4 910 and 945 are EOL already. AMD will stop taking orders for a whole raft of CPUs starting Q1 2010. These CPUs will be currently existing steppings of Phenom II X4 925, 965, 810; Phenom II X3 720; Phenom II X2 540; Athlon II X4 620; and Athlon II X3 425.

A new stepping of Phenom II CPUs is expected to hit, reducing power consumptions of several Phenom II products. Phenom II X4 955 is expected to move to 95W, Phenom II X4 965 to 125W. A new Phenom II X4 965, clocked at 3.6 GHz is also rumoured as part of this new stepping.

Google Mobile Search adds voice, and multi-language too

Google’s S60 ‘portal’ search utility, ‘Google Mobile App’ just got itself an update to v2.03(8), bringing voice searching - and it works rather impressively. Bring up the S60 3rd Edition utility in the usual way (e.g. by pressing ‘C’ on the homescreen) and then press and hold the green call key to speak your search string. Shattered Horizon PC Game New Gameplay Trailer

Futuremark Games Studio today released a new gameplay trailer for Shattered Horizon, their PC exclusive multiplayer first-person shooter. The trailer showcases the games complete freedom of movement and intense zero gravity combat. This new trailer shows real players experiencing Shattered Horizon's
zero gravity combat. The ISS, Flipside and Arc levels are shown in a
trailer for the first time and the player's HUD, the three grenade
types, scoped shots and melee attacks are also revealed.

“Shattered Horizon is this year's most original first-person shooter,”
said Jukka Mkinen, Head of Futuremark Games Studio. “In a sea of
sequels, Shattered Horizon offers PC gamers a fresh and innovative
