Video: Scalado’s PhotoFlow on the Nokia 5800

PhotoFlow, from Scalado, is a piece of software that can be used to view, and zoom-in on, images stored on the phone. While Gallery ties in with the rest of the phone (e.g. send as MMS) PhotoFlow is a better performer if you are simply interested in viewing images; as our video demonstrates, you are able to browse through images and zoom in much faster than the standard Gallery application. Read on for more and to view the video.

Corsair Adds Online Store

There doesn't appear to be an official launch announcement but it looks like Corsair will be selling their products direct from their own online store. Right now, there are only the top performing Dominator GT RAM kits available but I would suspect more would be available soon.

February 5 News from Around the Web

Cavalry Storage CAND3001T0 1TB Network Drive Review @ OCC and other reviews from around the web can be found by visiting our forums!

“The CAND3001T0 is an easy way to add shared storage to your network, as it comes with hard drives installed and preconfigured for use. For users wanting basic storage functionality with a minimum of fuss, the CAND3001T0 offers and additional 500GB of storage out of the box due to its RAID-1 factory configuration. I found the Web UI to be very basic and its use of fractured English to be mildly annoying at times and downright confusing at others. The interface seems more like a first attempt rather than a polished, completed product. The added features are where I had the most issues, from e-mail alerts that were too basic to be of any use, to the backup capability that left me wondering if maybe it should have been left out until an integrated working restore functionality could be included.”
